1. Tell us about yourself and what you do in a few words.
Greetings! My name is Justin having served as a general manager of an offline sales team in the company, ActiveLife, over the last seven years. To briefly introduce the offline sales team, our team has been managing elite athletes and professional athletic organizations as our main customers and introducing a variety of athletic equipment to our potential customers as well, including the brand Vivoo.
2. How do you align your brand values with promoting a healthy lifestyle?
We are a company named ‘ActiveLife’. As our company name literally implies, we have been contemplating ways to make everyone’s health care easier and more convenient and sharing our expertise and experiences.
One of our efforts is to introduce highly competitive wellness products unknown to Korean people and support them to not get into trouble with the use of the products.
3. As a brand executive, how do you foster a culture of wellness within your organization?
Despite our employees having their own hobbies, we hold a yoga class driven by the professional yoga instructor once a week. This yoga class is open to anyone even with zero experience of yoga class in the past, and thankfully every participant so far is very satisfied with the class. Furthermore, having not been attempted recently due to Covid-19, we used to either play Futsal or go climb a mountain with our affiliates and partners.
4. Can you tell us about your experience using the Vivoo app, and how do you incorporate it into your wellness practice?
The way of using the Vivoo test strip was surprisingly easy and convenient, and the interface of its mobile application was very intuitive as well. Vivoo is a healthcare parameter in our bodies that everyone was curious about at least once in the past.
The best thing about Vivoo is that it is available anytime, anywhere with your smartphone; we can use it once in a week, or we can check our body when we feel tired after hard work. To incorporate Vivoo into our wellness practice, our company, ActiveLife, provides Vivoo test strips for the employees at any time.
Given the opportunity to use Vivoo test strips when needed, they are able to check their healthcare parameters and keep their eyes on their health care according to their own lifestyles.
5. What is your favorite thing about the Vivoo App?
The information provided by Vivoo mobile application is superb. From the first time when I started to learn about the application, I was mesmerized by the overall graphic user interface and its design, and it allowed me to spend a significant amount of time in the application. And yet, my favorite part in the application is the part of presenting a solution beyond just testing a Vivoo strip. It's not easy to manage the various aspects that affect healthcare parameters, but Vivoo allows us to easily achieve it.
6. What encourages you to continue on your Vivoo journey?
We could frequently hear information about the foods and nutritional supplements we eat around our communities. It is widely believed that the food coming into our mouths is more significant than the workout to maintain healthy living. For this reason, we could have been continuing a journey with Vivoo that guides us to figure out which food we must intake through examining our body status.
7. Why do you think checking your wellness parameters are important for a healthy lifestyle?
We have been taking care of our health indefinitely without realizing our physical condition so far. Especially nowadays, our essential nutrient list and healthy lifestyle have been hugely influenced by product commercials and YouTube contents. But, this is not the right way to take care of our health. Whereas Vivoo listens to your body with precision.
All we need to do is to check the result in the mobile application and to follow as Vivoo suggests. Listening to our body sound(feedback) and adjusting it to our health habits (exercise and diet) are the most important factors to maintain our body health.
8. Can you share any success stories where your brand's wellness efforts had a significant positive impact on the overall well-being of your customers or employees?
The professional golfers were the very first target that we introduced to Vivoo as the official exclusive agency of Vivoo in Korea. To manage their nutritions and physical conditions, a lot of KLPGA (Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association) players had been proceeding with a hair nutrition test, and in fact the players who were being managed were performing better.
However, because of some inconveniences of a hair nutrition test, it has been changed to Vivoo strip test, and it is spreading due to the characteristics of being able to easily check the results at the lower cost.
Besides, one of our customers who made the best use of the product EMS by the brand COMPEX which belongs to our company's brand portfolio could reduce the rehabilitation period and return to his workplace. He ruptured his Achilles tendon while running and was placed in a cast after surgery. We expected it to take a significant amount of time to build up his joint range of motion and muscles, but EMS significantly reduced the rehabilitation period that ended up satisfying the customer.
