1) Can you introduce yourself in a few sentences?
Hello, I'm Nur. I love to read books, and you can say that there is a small library in my house. Besides this, I enjoy doing yoga because it makes me more aware of myself.
2) What do you do at Vivoo, and how long have you been with the company? How does Vivoo supports your wellness?
I'm a dietitian at Vivoo, and I've been working here for a year and a half. I have worked in every place a dietitian could in my professional life, and finally found myself here, yay! I pay a lot of attention to my health and nutrition even outside of my profession as a dietitian. The fact that Vivoo makes it so easy to keep tabs on wellness keeps me motivated at work.
3) Can you describe your daily routine?
I join a morning yoga class 2 days a week. Since I don't like to be hungry, I eat a light snack before my yoga class, and prepare a delicious sandwich for myself after I finish. On days when I don't do yoga, I like to prepare myself a Mediterranean style breakfast. After brewing a cup of herbal tea, then I get to work!
I like having a small amount of a variety of foods at lunch so I like to make sure that the foods match. I include as many food groups as I can, so I might have a salad and yogurt with pasta, or boiled chickpeas and lentils in a green salad with kefir. I usually like having coffee and fresh fruit as a snack. In the evenings, after I have my dinner, I usually read a book and try to take a look at the latest scientific studies to stay up to date on all things nutrition.
4) What’s a favorite wellness routine that you’ve been into these days?
This is a very difficult question! I love a lot of things that allow me to take time for myself. Skin care, yoga, healthy eating, aromatherapy, etc. It's all good to me.
5) What is one tip you would give to someone who wants to start leading a healthier lifestyle?
You are your life. That's why you have to love yourself and take care of it. Try to start with that thought.
6) What is your favorite thing about Vivoo as a product?
I can use it home! I find it helpful to follow the health and nutrition recommendations because it makes taking care of myself easy. I also like that the wellness parameters can tell me exactly what nutrients I need, and can tell me the state of my metabolic health.
7) How regularly do you test with Vivoo?
I take a test once a week. However, if there are days that I'm off routine, I'll take a test a day after to see if my body needs to make up for anything nutrients in particular.
8) How do you generally score on your Vivoo test? What is your top score to date?
I usually get between 8 and 10. My best score so far is a 9.8!
9) We know that you love all the wellness parameters on the Vivoo test. :) But which one is your favorite and why?
Ketones! The Ketone parameter is very important even for people who aren't on the keto diet. It ca tell you whether your metabolism is doing okay, so I always check it first at the end of the test.
10) What is the greatest source of motivation that keeps you testing with Vivoo?
My motivation is me! I want to take care of my body so that I can do the things I love. And taking care of my body means that I also take care of my mental health. It's a win-win situation!
